Defender Sunao Hosaki has signed to join Mito for the 2009 season. He is currently playing in the JFL for Ryutsu Keizai University in south Ibaraki. He is playing as a forward in college but has signed to Mito to play as a defender.
Before entering university, he played for ten years in the Yokohama Marinos and then Yokohama F. Marinos youth system.
