And both teams just played one of the dirtiest games I have ever seen.
During the first half, forward Iwadate was charged with a perhaps unfairly issued yellow card, and when his fairly charged tackle in the second half resulted in dismissal, he lashed out emotionally, leading to a verbal clash from all members on the field. Leaving, he violently kicked an advertising board and stormed angrily off the field. It was fairly shocking and many supporters were unsympathetic. Later in the half, rookie defender Nakamura would also see his second yellow and head off. Several Tosu players as well were especially dangerous with tackling as well, but nobody on that side was sent off. Tosu also delayed the game several times with false injuries to go along with a real injury, as despite being two down at the end in both points and players, Mito continued to make close plays to the end.
Disregarding the large amount of unfair play from both sides, Mito largely played a bit better than Tosu, but both allowed goals were uncontroversial.

welcome back :) so how was the US trip? happy to see Mito win last round, but I guess Sagan were too strong for them today.
missed ur report btw, but i see u updated it now:)
anyway, good luck with the rest of the season, and I wouldn't mind seeing Mito ahead of Tokushima at the end:)
Basse
The trip was all work and no play, just like last night's game... Mito fell apart in the second half, and worked too hard to play well as a team.
