In the J. League Satellite group, Mito's backup players have played respectably against the competition. There are still two games to play as Kashima and Urawa have yet to have their two matches against each other, but unless they split a win each and Urawa gets a HUGE boost in goal difference in its win, the final standings have Mito in 3rd for the year:
1) FC Tokyo
2) Kashima Antlers OR Urawa Reds
3) Mito HollyHock
4) Kashima Antlers OR Urawa Reds
5) Thespa Kusatsu
