Former Mito Player in Legal Trouble

Last week, Mito midfielder through 2007 Dong-Chan Kim was arrested in a raid on a Tokyo "host club", a club for female patrons to enjoy the company of upscale gentlemen and universally understood to also provide sex acts for a fee.

Although found in an uncompromising environment, Kim claimed that he was just there to visit Korean friends and was not an employee. After investigation, there has been no evidence that he committed any illegal act other than overstaying an expired visa. Just as with anyone caught overstaying (as opposed to turning oneself in after expiration), Kim faces deportation and a lengthy ban on entering Japan.

lol, my friend took me to one of those clubs one time, although it was a hostess club of course;) To me it seemed pretty harmless, just talking and chatting really ;) But i've heard the stories about there being other sorts of "services" provided too if you're into that stuff, lol.

Perhaps Kim should focus more on football from now on? surely there would be a K.League club in use of his services?

Well, a place catering to either gender with foreigners as an attraction probably isn't focusing on verbal conversation...

Honestly, he isn't up to any professional standards, unfortunately. I doubt he'd get paid a living wage in either country and would have to settle for semi-pro. Whatever he has done for the past year and a half in Japan must have been much better in comparison to warrant an illegal stay...
