Just announced on news wires an hour ago, Mito has signed current high school standout Mitsuru Mansho to a contract starting in the 2008 season.
Currently in Osaka, Mansho has been a part of the Kyoto youth program as well as the youth national team. He is a forward who has been described as able to make shots that baffle keepers.
His comment to the fans: 「1年目から試合に出てチームの勝利に貢献出来るように頑張りますので応援よろしくお願いします。」 ("I will try hard to join the team and have an impact in making victories from my first year so I ask for your support.")
