The previous year's economic results have been released. The team ended up with a profit of 2,340,756 yen at the end of the year. To put this into perspective, this amount is less than almost any full time employee makes in Japan in a yearly salary.
At the same time, a number of teams have a habit of losing money, and a team not using all of its money isn't applying it properly in padding the roster, so perhaps this result isn't so bad. I'm not sure how the economics work.
