Yesterday, Mito's reserves traveled to Kashima and lost by a score of 2 - 4.
Mito's goal was taken by last year's league goal leader Shiozawa, and Kashima's own goal doubled that number.
Mito's loss doesn't change the team's placement in Satellite League standings, but it does mean that the team has fewer games in hand than than the other teams and seems likely to finish lower than second place. The new standings:
1) FC Tokyo
2) Mito
3) Kashima
4) Urawa
5) Kusatsu
