Mito is your top goal scoring team this round, taking three against Kumamoto in the first away game there for league play. Eight die hard fans made the trip for the weekday night game while I was unfortunately unable to even watch it on TV.
The first half had midfielder Kento Hori score the first goal. Kumamoto would answer in the same half, but just before the break, forward Arata scored his seventh of the season to give Mito the lead once again. In the second half Hori once again scored to bring it up to 3 - 1. Being a midfielder he'll likely pick up player of the round in the stats.
Mito now have started the second win streak of the season and have risen to 12th in the rankings. The team is one win away from matching last year's count with 18 matches to go in the shorter season. If that comes on Saturday against Yamagata, Mito could likely jump up one more spot while making Sendai and Osaka fans happy.
