Mito 0 - 2 Tokushima

Before today, Mito had never lost in Shikoku, and had only lost to Tokushima once in 12 meetings. That team has improved by incredible amounts in the new season under former Kyoto manager Kurobe and former Kashiwa striker Dungia, though.

Not much to say about the game as it wasn't incredibly exciting. Mito had many good chances but couldn't convert despite two really close calls. Tokushima's goals were well executed.

This match saw the J. League debut of recent college graduate Takahashi, but he only touched the ball when he threw it in for Biju after a Tokushima clear.

Mito remains in 13th place, ahead of Kusatsu who tied its game and Kumamoto who also lost. The next game is at Sendai, and I think I'll make the trip to see it.

Yeah, I'm glad we played Tokushima just when their momentum was beginning to change for the better.

Today' game was a s you say pretty average but the trip up to Sendai may be well worth it next week as Sendai seem to be struggling at the moment...

I wish I could make it up for the tuesday game vs Gifu but unfortunately the one-day trip is a bit of a mission! Damn...
I'll have to go to Hiratsuka this weekend instead...
