Former Mito fan favorite Anderson, the Brazilian striker discovered and brought to Japan by Mito for the 2006 season, has scored the first hat trick of the 2008 J2 season for his new team Yokohama FC. This was during Sunday's 3 - 2 win over Shonan.
SkyPerfecTV has recently aired (and will likely repeat) a show dedicated to the coach of Shikoku league side Kamatamare Sanuki. He's the first physically handicapped sports coach in Japan, and the show focused on his lifestyle and training methods. Defender Hatta and forward Iwadate, released by Mito at the end of the last season, featured prominently as starters for his team.
