After defeating Kanazawa, Mito has drawn to play against fellow Ibaraki prefecture J. League side Kashima in the next round of the Emperor's Cup. The last game played between the two teams was a 0 - 4 win by Kashima in February's Ibaraki Soccer Festival.
The good news is that if Mito can win the game, the next match would be against the winner of Kofu and Tokushima, who are not the powerhouse level of Kashima.
