Mito and Osaka played a fairly defensive and boring game tonight. Chances were rare and Osaka scored the first goal with a free kick set play near the goal. The second goal came in the final secons after an Osaka forward received the ball in an open space near the goal.
Goalkeeper Honma continued his streak of games with spectacular saves, but unfortunately the only thing this game might be remembered for is that it returned Mito to the bottom of the list due to Tokushima's concurrent draw with Kyoto. In the standings, Tokushima has a game to be played on Mito with a better goal difference.
