Mito played in Shikoku today, and with some fine play defeated the home team.
I could only catch the last 20 minutes after returning from the office, but the pressure faced was so similar to what Mito felt in the last game against Fukuoka. This time, though, goalkeeper Honma's truly great saves kept the opposing team scoreless until the final whistle.
Mito's goal came from midfielder Ogura, with a fantastic shot through a sea of defenders from a good 15 meters from the goal. It's good to see the rambunctious and rough and tumble concert on Saturday didn't affect his play ability.
