Mito 1 - 5 Tosu
Mito played away in Tosu on Wednesday and by all reports, did so poorly. The final score had the home team score 5 points to 1, with Mito's point scored by Shiozawa with a jumping header off a corner kick.
Do you not say "goal"? 得点者(or point) is obviously the Japanese way although I thought us English speakers always used "goal"? Or maybe I'm behind the times?
Sorry about that... Obviously grammar is fine either way, but one purpose of this blog is that Mito supporters use it to practice English. For that reason I try to repeat terms and use as simple language as possible while still getting my point (hee hee) across, perhaps using new words in different posts only if possible.
All news is obtained from Japanese language news sites or through personal encounter and translated and condensed into English. Whenever possible, information is taken from club players or staff, and games are attended live with impressions of the match included with the results.
If you have any requests for information on the club, mail me and I can likely report it.
